Even Dolls Have Conventions & Short Fiction

I recently learned that there are doll conventions. As a doll collector, I snooped around online and found one in Dallas. It wasn't specifically for haunted dolls, which I collect, but the convention was very inclusive, so I'm sure haunted dolls are welcome. I also collect non-haunted dolls, so it was my kind of convention.

I grabbed some loot and took lots of photos while I was there. Everyone was very friendly, and I'm looking forward to exploring it again next year—or even joining some other ones if I happen across them. These days, there are a lot of conventions (big and small) around niche interests, and you never know what might be in your area.

In other news, I've been writing a few short fiction pieces in between novel revisions. I'll be posting some of them soon. The format is pretty unusual, so it will be interesting to see how well they are received.

What's New?

  • Novel revisions are slow and steady, and I'm writing short fiction!
