Exploring Southern Nature

I grew up in the South, and like most places, Southern nature has a particular look and feel. Now that Tae and I have unpacked, we're starting to explore around Dallas. This weekend, we found an area that had actual ponds.
Now, if you live in an area with ponds, this may seem like a relatively mundane photo, but coming from the Sonoran Desert, seeing so much water gathered there on the ground is a little shocking. It's not just the water either, but the trees as well. There are succulents everywhere around Tucson, and there are some trees—but not like this.
- I now have a few creative projects, each slowly and steadily moving along. I'll be posting more updates soon on them.
- Next Week: Maritime stories of mermaids and ghosts.
